Job Description As a Software Testing Engineer , your primary role is to test software applications to identify and report bugs, glitches, and other issues that may affect their performance or user experience. You will work closely with software developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and create comprehensive test plans. Your goal is to ensure that the software meets quality standards, functions correctly, and delivers a positive user experience. Job Duties/Responsibilities Test Planning: Develop comprehensive test plans based on project requirements. Test Execution: Execute test cases to identify software defects and verify functionality. Bug Reporting: Document and report bugs using bug tracking systems. Regression Testing: Ensure software updates do not affect existing features. Quality Assurance: Verify software meets quality standards and user expectations. Test Automation: Develop and maintain automated test scripts for efficiency. Collaboration: Work with teams to communicate test results and improvements. Documentation: Create and update testing documentation for reference. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with testing trends and best practices. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field. 3 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Adaptability to changing project requirements and technologies. Must have a valid permit to work in Australia/Canada or must be ready to secure one.
