Post 1 - Mental Health & Learning Disability (18.5 hours) Post 2 - Community Health & Care (18.5 hours) We are seeking to recruit two AHP Managers for Clackmannanshire & Stirling Health & Social Care Partnership. Mental Health & Learning Disability (MHLD) Services in Forth Valley are a welcoming and forward-thinking place to work, and we place a real emphasis on staff wellbeing at all levels of the organisation. The postholder will be accountable for the safe and effective operational management and clinical governance of the Forth Valley-wide AHP Mental Health & Learning Disability services that include Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Speech and Language Therapy and Dietetics. Partnership working with staff, patients and other services/agencies is essential to ensure the effective implementation of guidance and policies. This post sits within Mental Health & Learning Disabilities (MHLD) Services. MHLD Services cover both community and inpatient services across several sites. The Service is operationally managed by the Director of Psychological Services, Mental Health & Learning Disabilities and a team of Service Managers. They are supported by professional leads, and together they form the MHLD Senior Leadership Team. The AHP Manager will be an integral member of the MHLD Senior Leadership Team, which is cohesive and supportive, and will have the opportunity to be involved in service development and delivery across MHLD. Community Health and Care Services The postholder will be accountable for the safe and effective operational management and clinical governance of the Clackmannanshire and Stirling HSCP AHP Services, including Forth Valley-wide hosted services, Adult Services, Rehabilitation, REACH, Community Hospital Rehabilitation NHS Forth Valley Adult SLT. Our services include Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Speech and Language Therapy. Partnership working with staff, patients and other services/agencies is essential to ensure the effective implementation of guidance and policies. This post sits within the Community Health and Care portfolio covering both community and inpatient services across several sites. The portfolio is operationally managed by the Head of Community Health and Care along with a team of Service Managers, and the successful candidate will join this leadership team. They are supported by professional leads, and together they form the Community Health & Care Senior Leadership Team. The AHP Manager will be an integral member of the Senior Leadership Team, which is cohesive and supportive, and will have the opportunity to be involved in service development and delivery across Forth Valley. The postholders will also contribute to wider service delivery and development across the HSCP, as part of the HSCP Senior Management & Leadership Team. They will also be part of the Forth Valley wide AHP Managers group and have a role in supporting professional practice across the AHP workforce. The successful candidates will be educated to postgraduate level or have equivalent experiential learning and be an AHP registered with the HCPC. Extensive management including change management and redesign experience of AHP services at a senior level within the NHS is essential. The post holder will be able to demonstrate that they have experience of multi-agency, multidisciplinary planning and delivery, and an understanding of rehabilitation and in particular the need to promote independent living at home or a home environment.
