Reporting to the Executive Director of Intelligent Automation, this is a full-time and permanent position based in Sydney, Australia. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement advanced intelligent automation solutions to optimise operations and enhance efficiency. Design and build automation systems using cloud services, AI and advanced algorithms to address complex challenges. Create proof of concepts (PoCs) to demonstrate potential solutions leveraging state-of-the-art AI technologies. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand the scope of automation projects and address operational challenges. Utilise data-driven insights to inform the design and implementation of automation solutions. Develop and maintain data governance and quality assurance frameworks to ensure the integrity of automation processes. Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, enhance efficiency, and improve overall performance through automation. Work closely with a high-performing team of data scientists, analysts, and engineers to deliver innovative solutions. Communicate the value of intelligent automation to executive leadership and other stakeholders, ensuring alignment and successful project outcomes. Create AI and machine learning models to provide advanced solutions for automating complex automation challenges. Key Requirements: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees (MBA, PhD) in relevant areas can be a plus. Proven track record implementing solutions that leverage cloud, AI/ML and advanced algorithms Experience in a highly regulated industry (e.g., financial services, healthcare, government). Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP). Familiarity with data visualization and storytelling tools. Experience with open-source technologies and frameworks. Experience using big data platforms such as Palantir Foundry, Databricks or Ab Initio Experience implementing classification and predictive AI/ML/Statistical models to predict churn, identify upsell and cross sell opportunities, model customer lifetime values etc. Understanding of Master Data Management, Data Warehousing and big data frameworks Strong development experience in Python especially using libraries such as TensorFlow, PySpark, Scikit-Learn, Pytorch, pandas etc Certifications in Data Science, Machine Learning, or AI Cloud certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer.
