Centro located inside the Metropolitan at The 9 is looking for a Bartender to join our team in downtown Cleveland. After a meeting far from home or just at the end of the work day we offer a relaxing, casual and memorable experience for our guests. You will be serving guests delicious food and beverages all while being helpful, respectful and knowledgeable about Metropolitan at The 9. Responsibilities: Prepare and serve a variety of drinks and cocktails. Create a very warm and welcoming environment for guests. Interact with guests, taking drink orders and making recommendations. Ensure all guests are of legal drinking age and adhere to responsible alcohol service guidelines. Maintain a clean and organized bar area and assist with stocking supplies as needed. Process payments accurately and in a timely manner. Maintain knowledge of menu changes and promotions. Willing to help out colleagues with other duties when needed. Requirements: Bartending experience a must. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Strong knowledge of mixology and bartending techniques. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively. Ability to handle cash and operate a point-of-sale system. TIPS/RAMPS certification preferred. Must be at least 21 years of age. Must be available to work weekends. Join the team at Centro and help create a memorable experience for yourself and our guests.
