As a dedicated Embedded AMD-Xilinx Senior / Field Application Engineer, the chosen candidate will be responsible for accelerating the adoption of Adaptive and Embedded Computing Group (AECG) product portfolio including Embedded X86 CPU, Alveo, MPSoC, and Versal leveraging your embedded software knowledge and experience. The focus will be on growing our embedded market business with respect to X86 Embedded and Versal ACAP Products, Zynq MPSOC design, using tool flows that include C/C++/Python. An abundant level of training will be provided locally, interstate, and overseas to continually keep your skills to the highest level. Duties and Responsibilities: Fully autonomous role with the ability to work within a team environment. Cold Calling, and relationship building with customers. Ability to understand business requirements and translate these into detailed system and software solutions. Responsible for conceptualization, architecture, and optimization of customers’ embedded software design requirements into Xilinx solutions. Develop embedded X86/MPSOC/Versal reference design and drive embedded training/Webinar sessions to customers. Demo AMD-Xilinx products’ processor-related new features to customers. Design and develop software for embedded Linux-based customer applications. Help the customer to build custom Linux-based operating systems for embedded devices, i.e., Yocto, Buildroot. Help the customer’s hardware engineers to ensure software compatibility with hardware. Primary Skills & Experience: Bachelor or Master in Software Engineering, Robotics or Computer Science. 5+ years of industry experience in embedded software design is preferred. Good experience in designing and developing complex embedded software. Understanding of embedded processor systems & architectures (hardware-software partitioning, processor architectures, communication, boot process & security, and functional safety). Knowledge of Linux kernel and device-driver development such as Ethernet, PCIe, and USB. Experience with C/C++ and TCL and Python programming. Experience with STM32/NXP microcontrollers and AMD-Xilinx SOC/FPGA products is preferred. Able to troubleshoot various kernel issues with the help of the gdb server or host-based debugger. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong attention to detail. Experience in Machine Learning is a value add. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to rapidly establish rapport and credibility. Fluent English language - Strong presentation skills, and excellent written and verbal communication skills. Valid Driver’s license is a must. Package: The remuneration package will be competitive and based on experience. Please indicate your expected package in your application.
