Add expected salary to your profile for insights Permanent, part-time or full-time available The Australian Nursing and Midwifery Education Centre (ANMEC) has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Administration Officer to join our team and help shape, grow and contribute to the workforce for the future by delivering quality support to ANMEC students. About the Role: The ANMEC Administration Officer will provide support within ANMEC for Educators, Course Managers, students, and other staff, as well as for visitors to the ANMFSA. The role will involve a wide range of tasks and a high level of client service skills. The role will be varied and require the incumbent to be competent in a wide range of administrative tasks across ANMEC including education support and student placements. Through the application of duties and responsibilities, the Administration Officer will contribute to the recruitment and retention of students in ANMEC and promote the RTO within the ANMFSA as an effective and responsive organisation for nurses/midwives and personal care assistants, to members, potential members, and to the broader community. Key responsibilities: Education Support Provide customer service and contribute to the promotion of ANMEC services to students and prospective students including updating course flyers. Maintain policy and procedures relating to student administration and contribute to the development of new procedures which are not documented. Respond to student enquiries, course enquiries, bookings, and payments. Recording and maintaining student fees as required. Initiate correspondence to students in relation to course requirements. Coordinate enrolment of students, including CT or RPL if required. Assist with graduation administration, in accordance with established process. Collate and prepare training material as required. About You: To be considered for the position you will need to demonstrate the following criteria: Experience in clerical and administrative work including those required by a training or education organisation, with experience of student records, registrations, and database management. A working knowledge in the use of databases such as VETtrak for Education support or similar, library circulation systems, and other reporting systems. Demonstrated well-developed verbal and written communication skills using telephone, email, and face-to-face and experience in reception/switchboard services. Demonstrated customer service skills to provide prompt and appropriate assistance by responding and actioning counter, phone, and email enquiries. A high level of computer literacy including the Microsoft suite of applications and computer-based information systems. A working knowledge of VET Student Loans and reporting systems to track loans and funding, and compliance requirements in an RTO, are both desirable criteria. Experience with preparing training material and assistance with graduation administration. Additionally, employees must be willing to obtain a Department of Human Services (DHS) Working with Children Check (WWCC).
