Why This Role Matters Provide effective support to Participants ensuring a safe and structured environment is maintained in accordance with TSA guidelines, within a Participant lead recovery-based service. About The Role We are seeking a dedicated AOD Case Worker for our Mount Isa Recovery Services Centre in a fixed-term (12 months) full-time capacity. This position is based out of Mount Isa. Salary and conditions are in accordance with the SCHADS Social and Community level 4 award. Key Responsibilities: Provide efficient day to day case management and service delivery. Develop, implement and monitor case plans, including exit planning in line with TSA Recovery Services and Centre requirements. Effectively identify, assess and manage Participant risks in accordance with policies and procedures. Directly supervise the collection of urine test samples for drug and alcohol testing as per centre guidelines. Demonstrate commitment to an environment that values continuous improvement and innovation in the delivery of high-quality services. Acquire and maintain a good working knowledge of referral and support options for participants. About You: Sound knowledge of AOD, Community Services and Health Sectors. Demonstrated experience and ability to work with those impacted by substance abuse, and mental health conditions. Demonstrated experience in effective case and project management. Experience working with people from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander backgrounds. Experience working with people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds and religions. Relevant certificate to the work performed. A Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check. An international police record check is required, where applicable. A current Working with Children check (Blue Card) is required for roles located at Townsville & Mount Isa sites only. A valid Driver's license. A current and valid First Aid Certificate.
