Job Description Odyssey House NSW has an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic and growing team in Residential Programs based at Eagle Vale in South Western Sydney. The role is Full Time Fixed Term contract. Odyssey House NSW is a leading provider of Alcohol and Other Drugs treatment and support in NSW and our Residential Programs provide a holistic range of strengths-based and recovery-oriented supports to those seeking hope and change in their lives, including a dedicated Medical Unit, the Mingu Yabun Aboriginal Programs, Odyssey College and the Family Recovery Centre. The Residential Programs work as part of a network of treatment support programs across Greater Sydney and the Southern Highlands. Odyssey is seeking a suitably experienced person to commence in this role, supporting the intake stage of the client journey, including supporting referrals and enquiries, undertaking assessment and supporting the pathway to admission. Desired Skills and Experience SELECTION CRITERIA: Tertiary or VET qualifications Experience working in an AOD, MH or other similar community support or health service Experience undertaking brief or comprehensive assessments Experience providing support to people with support needs and/or specific vulnerabilities Demonstratable experience working in a team environment to deliver coordinated support Hold or have the ability to obtain a current Criminal History Check and Working with Children clearance for paid employment.
