Job Description

The Role Defence Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) is a major Defence transformation program that will change the way we do business. The program will eliminate hundreds of structures, processes, systems and tools, and replace them with a new ERP solution (Based on SAP) that will provide a single, trusted source of accurate, near real-time information. As the Asset Management & Data Manager, you will work as part of the Engineering and Technical Function within CASG under limited direction in the following areas: Provide engineering support for input to the business readiness planning. Manage responsibilities for Defence ERP master data, governance and analytics to maintain data quality, including associated business rules. Support the requirements determination and business planning for the archiving of post-ERP legacy engineering systems and data access. Coordinate and prepare information briefs and presentation material for working groups. The role will suit an engineering professional with an affinity for technical data. About our Team The Engineering and Technical (E&T) Function provides the engineering and technical services required to support the delivery of capability. The Function is made up of the engineering and technical people in CASG, most of whom work within the projects and SPOs. E&T Function members are involved in the development and control of the requirements, design, construction, configuration, performance, verification, validation, maintenance and modification of a product; including activities such as the conduct of technical investigations, reviews, and assessment of designs, materiel, incidents and organisations. The E&T Function Centre is responsible for providing the CASG Engineering and Technical community with clear and comprehensive Policies, Handbooks and Procedures to ensure a systematic approach to CASG Engineering and more importantly a structured Systems Engineering framework for capability acquisition and sustainment activities. Our Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate would have a current understanding of the Defence Engineering environment and the Defence Data management framework. They would have experience in the implementation of Enterprise solutions, with experience in Data cleansing and Migration activities. They will have an understanding of Industry standard Data Management practices and processes. #J-18808-Ljbffr
