Your new role As an ICT Procurement and Contract Management Officer (APS6), you will provide essential procurement advice and strategy for business areas. You will manage and undertake procurement activities, applying fundamental principles in the administration and management of the tender process. Your responsibilities include preparing various procurement documents such as RFQs, RFTs, business cases, evaluation reports, contracts, and correspondence. You will also negotiate contract variations, develop and maintain productive relationships with vendors and stakeholders, and support team planning to achieve business outcomes. What you'll need to succeed Demonstrated experience in procurement or contract management, with a preference for ICT procurement. Knowledge of the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act 2013, Commonwealth Procurement Rules 2023, and Commonwealth Procurement Connected Policies. Understanding of the Digital Transformation Agency's Digital Sourcing Framework and procurement strategies. The ability to collaborate effectively with a broad range of stakeholders to achieve program outcomes. Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills to develop innovative solutions. High-level written and verbal communication skills. Our Ideal Candidate You are a detail-oriented professional with a passion for procurement and contract management. This role requires Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills. The ability to develop and maintain relationships with government and community stakeholders. Experience with procurement and contract management legislation, policies, and frameworks. Understanding of privacy, ethics, workplace health and safety, and security protocols.
