Overview of the Team People, Property and Security is responsible for supporting the strategic direction of Comcare by enabling, through strategic and effective frameworks, advice and processes, to respond effectively to current and future business needs. The Payroll team provides support and advice on employment, remuneration and entitlements. The team provides customer focused payroll services for Comcare within legislative frameworks, policies and procedures and is responsible for the accurate processing of payroll and entitlements under the relevant legislation. Overview of the Role As the Payroll Team Leader, you will lead a small team to provide customer focused payroll services for Comcare within legislative frameworks and work procedures. You will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of payroll and application of enterprise agreement conditions. You will be a positive and proactive team leader by providing advice to your team on complex work tasks. You will guide and develop your team through regular performance conversations and encourage a high-performing team environment. Eligibility and Specific Conditions of Employment Character clearance (police records check). Health clearance. Six months probationary period for new engagements.
