12-month Contract Federal Government Baseline Security Clearance Needed $100,000 to $110,000 p.a. + 15.4% Super Locations: Canberra, Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane Security Clearance: Baseline Security Clearance, Minimum Contract: 12-month Non-Ongoing + 6-month extension option Your new company Step into an exciting opportunity with our client, a team led by a seasoned Director with over 25 years' experience in the private and federal government sectors. Your new role As one of the APS6 Senior Procurement Officers, you'll become an integral part of the Centralised Procurement Team. Reporting to the Assistant Director of Procurement, you'll handle large, complex tenders and procurements, and not just panel management. You will manage RFQs, RFTs, RFIs, and RFPs, develop procurement evaluation plans, and negotiate with keen commercial acumen. What you'll need to succeed To thrive in this role, you'll bring: Extensive experience in handling large, complex tenders and procurements. Proficiency in delivering RFQs, RFTs, RFIs, and RFPs. Strong skills in developing procurement evaluation plans. Excellent negotiation skills, particularly with financials. The ability to act as a go-to resource for advice and forecast spending within your assigned division. Effective communication with the Head of Procurement regarding division forecasting. A creative approach within the CPRs and PGPA Act for strategic agency procurement. Advice on non-standard panel procurements and matrix management.
