Direct message the job poster from Not Specified Section Manager at Hays - Marketing, Communications and Digital The Role - 6 month contract, Fed Gov, must be an Australian Citizen to apply The Communications Project Officer is responsible for working across a number of functions in relation to corporate, internal and external communications within a small team. This role assists in coordinating workflow and providing administrative support for the Communications team to facilitate the dissemination of information, resources and publications to external stakeholders. The role is responsible for developing and delivering high quality, engaging and target audience specific content related to the Commission’s program areas across a range of print and digital platforms including the intranet, social media, electronic direct mail and the website. It also supports internal communications including the staff newsletter. This role is a central point of contact for the Communications team, which requires daily monitoring and response to queries received via the Communications email inbox. This role will provide outstanding customer service and coordinate requests, manage team workflow and monitor job progress. This Communications Project Officer will provide general and finance administration support to the team, including processing invoices, requesting quotes, preparing contracts, producing reports, managing copyright and permission requests, arranging meetings and maintaining databases. This is a multi-faceted role, requiring flexibility, adaptability, and strong organisational skills to effectively manage multiple projects and tasks. Key Skills The successful candidate will have: Sound knowledge and experience in the delivery of communications projects, materials and activities across a range of corporate functions, particularly on digital platforms Demonstrated high-level organisational and project management skills and ability to manage multiple competing deadlines Demonstrated high level skills in written content across a number of formats including intranet, web content, social media posts, EDMs and newsletters. High level skills in use of digital tools including content management systems, the Office suite of programs including SharePoint, EDM applications and TRIM.
