About the role: The Leasing and Property Project Manager reports directly to the Senior Adviser, Property and is responsible for coordinating and undertaking the development, implementation and review of programs and services that effectively manage the department’s lease agreements and the acquisition and disposal of real property. The role provides expert advice and recommendations to Department for Education Executive, management and staff in relation to complex property and leasing matters and engages with internal and external service providers and stakeholders in negotiating complex lease, license, joint use and other property agreements. Qualifications: Essential: Nil.Desirable: Appropriate tertiary qualification in Property, Conveyancing, Business Administration or equivalent work and/or community experience. Special conditions: The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry. The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN –EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years. For all other Special Conditions please refer to the attached Position Description. Remuneration: ASO6 $98,478 - $104,165 per annum (1.0 FTE) + superannuation (11.5%) and leave loading.
