Hays Adelaide, South Australia, Australia ASO7 SENIOR BUSINESS ANALYST Join SA Police's Firearms Program as a Senior Business Analyst on a term full-time vacancy up to 14/04/2027. Your new company South Australia Police (SAPOL) provides a diverse range of services to the community aimed at producing a safe and peaceful environment by minimising crime and disorder. It is a large, complex organisation constantly subject to public scrutiny and accountability, providing services across over 100 locations on a 24-hour basis. The SAPOL Firearms Program (SAFP) comprises a set of technical and business-focused projects aimed at improving SAPOL and community safety. The program will digitise firearm-related services and implement a new firearm register to support SAPOL's Firearms Branch (FAB), collaborating with other jurisdictions to standardise firearms information nationwide through a National Firearms Register (NFR). Your new role As a Senior Business Analyst, you will collaborate with stakeholders to gather and confirm requirements, create detailed process documentation, and define future functionalities to support the development of work packages. You will work closely with the business to define and develop new business processes and support the implementation of Dynamics 365. What you'll need to succeed Proven experience as a Business Analyst on major software implementation projects, covering requirements management, business process analysis, modelling, prototyping, information analysis, and overseeing the entire System Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Demonstrated expertise in managing stakeholders, including business representatives and solution implementation teams. Ability to analyse complex business processes, identify areas for improvement, and work with stakeholders to define new business processes. Strong verbal and written communication skills to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all organisational levels. Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively while remaining adaptable to changing project requirements and shifting priorities. What you'll get in return ASO7 $108,109 to $116,864 per annum plus super.
