In this role, you will provide hands-on support, system integration, and technical expertise for both modern and legacy AV systems. Working across a variety of sectors including education, houses of worship, and corporate, you will play a key role in ensuring our installations and services meet our exacting standards. Your work will directly impact client satisfaction and the seamless operation of our award-winning projects. Key Responsibilities: Conceptualise and design innovative AV solutions for diverse environments such as classrooms, auditoriums, and specialised performance spaces. Develop detailed system schematics, layout drawings, and equipment lists using design software. Interpret and produce complex designs, ensuring they align with AV integration best practices. On-Site Support : Deliver prompt and effective troubleshooting and maintenance of AV systems at client sites. System Integration & Programming: Assist with the design, configuration, commissioning, and programming of complex AV systems (experience with platforms such as Q-SYS, Crestron, Dante etc. is required). Networking & Technical Configuration: Set up and troubleshoot networking components including VLANs, IP addressing, and switch configurations to ensure optimal system performance. Client Engagement: Conduct site visits, provide technical assessments, and manage client expectations through clear and proactive communication. Process Improvement: Work closely with the team to refine our service ticket processes and implement proactive measures to reduce downtime and mitigate rush periods. Documentation & Reporting : Maintain thorough records of service calls, system configurations, and project updates to support continuous improvement. Required Skills & Qualifications: Experience : At least 5 years’ experience in AV integration or a closely related field within the industry. Technical Expertise : Proven experience in system integration, audio processing, and technical troubleshooting, with familiarity in supporting both modern and legacy AV systems. Networking Knowledge : Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including VLANs, IP addressing, and switch configuration. Communication : Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with clients and team members alike. Problem-Solving : A proactive and analytical approach to diagnosing and resolving technical issues in a fast-paced, high-demand environment. Team Player: Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a small, agile team. Preferred Qualifications: Industry certifications (e.g., Q-SYS, Crestron) or relevant technical qualifications. Experience in AV system support for educational or houses of worship settings.
