Our client, a leading healthcare business based in Sydney, is embarking on a major cloud transformation, migrating from on-premises infrastructure to AWS. They are seeking a skilled architect to lead this transition, ensuring scalability, uptime, and security remain top priorities. The Role As an AWS Solution Architect, you will play a key role in designing and implementing a robust cloud environment. Working closely with engineering and operations teams, you will ensure best practices in cloud architecture, security, and high availability are met. Key Responsibilities Lead the migration from on-premises infrastructure to AWS. Design scalable, secure, and highly available cloud solutions. Ensure best practices in cloud security, compliance, and governance. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align cloud architecture with business needs. Optimise performance, reliability, and cost efficiency within the AWS environment. Provide technical leadership and mentoring to the broader IT team. Key Skills & Experience Proven experience as an AWS Solution Architect, ideally in large-scale cloud migrations. Deep expertise in AWS services, architecture patterns, and security best practices. Strong understanding of scalability, uptime, and disaster recovery in cloud environments. Experience with infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
