This is a great opportunity for an Accountant looking to rapidly progress their career within a high-growth ASX listed business. Job Description Reporting to the Finance Manager, your role will include: Business partnering: meets with operational managers to explain monthly actuals vs budgets and get an understanding of drivers. Preparation and collation of daily, monthly, and adhoc reports in a timely manner. Provides analysis of the general ledger (balance sheet and profit and loss). Investigates areas of over and underspend vs budget to ensure that items are accurately reflected in the ledger or followed up with operational managers. Completion of month end and year end tasks as required (including journals, accruals, ledger reviews, etc.). Reviews profit and loss reports and ensures all costs are allocated against the right cost centre, general ledger account, or capitalized as CAPEX. Reconciles balance sheet accounts monthly, including relevant supporting documents and follow-up of reconciling items. Preparation of the annual budget and quarterly forecasts. Capitalization of fixed assets on a timely basis. The Successful Applicant We are seeking strong accounting professionals with excellent business partnering skills.
