Job Description

We are a digitally centred global marketing services group, which specialises in marketing, communications, research and technology services. Our network comprises of 11 specialist companies operating out of three key hubs in Sydney, London and New York. Role Overview: The Head Office Accountant will ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records, building trust and reliability to meet the Group's internal and external reporting requirements. This role will provide critical support to the Head of FP&A, Group Financial Controller and Finance Manager while collaborating closely with both internal teams and external stakeholders. Responsibilities: Head Office Accounting: Oversee day-to-day accounting for Enero Head Office, including posting journals, monthly P&L reporting and balance sheet reconciliations within MYOB and TM1. Submit regular forecasting of Enero Head Office results. Assist with the Annual Budget for Enero Head Office departments. Manage Group recharges, ensuring accuracy and timely processing. Review Group intercompany matrix, following up on any variances. Review monthly payroll and approve payment runs. Assist Accounts Payable with coding, ensuring smooth operations and accurate record-keeping. Submit fortnightly cash flow forecasting and reporting for Enero Head Office. Controllership Support: Support the Group Financial Controller with tax compliance, including preparing BAS, IAS, payroll tax, and FBT returns and assist with tax workpaper preparation globally. Prepare ABS and Payment Times Reporting. Support the Group Financial Controller with the consolidation of weekly cash flow reports submitted by subsidiaries. Support the Group Financial Controller with half-year and year-end audits. Provide additional support to Group Financial Controller and Finance Manager on an ad hoc basis. FP&A Support: Support the Head of FP&A and Group CFO on ad hoc requests. Technical Skills, Qualifications and Experience: 3+ years’ experience in accounting. Working towards CA/CPA or qualified. Solid accounting, budgeting and forecasting knowledge. Ability to work with a high level of accuracy. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work with multiple stakeholders (finance teams and head office department). Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Familiar with finance reporting systems such as MYOB and TM1.
