Accounting Assistant Manager - Tax & Business Services Armada Accountants and Advisors are a leading group of financial professionals based in Perth, Western Australia. ABOUT THE ROLE In this role, you will support the Manager in overseeing tax compliance and advisory services while maintaining strong client relationships. You will assist with reviewing financial statements, mentoring junior accountants, and ensuring jobs are completed efficiently and to a high standard. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior accountant ready to step into a leadership role. Reporting directly to one of our Tax & Accounting Directors, you will: Assist in managing tax compliance and financial reporting for a diverse client base. Maintain strong client relationships and provide tax and business advisory support. Review financial statements and tax returns to ensure accuracy and compliance. Mentor and support junior accountants in their professional development. Contribute to business advisory services, including strategy planning and governance. Support workflow meetings to ensure efficiency and adherence to technical standards. Identify opportunities for process improvements and client service enhancements. ABOUT YOU To be considered for this opportunity, you will have at least 5 years experience as an Accountant within Public Practice in Australia. Your experiences, knowledge and qualifications should include: A degree in Accounting (CA / CPA qualified or working towards). Minimum 5+ years of experience in tax compliance and advisory, in public practice. Strong knowledge of Australian taxation laws and regulations. Experience reviewing financial statements and tax returns. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
