Esus Centre is Western Australia’s first integrated treatment facility dedicated to the comprehensive care of individuals with eating disorders. Our unique treatment model combines a hospital-based Intensive Treatment Program (ITP) focusing on nutritional restoration and behavior support, low-intensity group programs for skill development, and an outpatient family treatment service. Our multidisciplinary team includes psychiatrists, GPs, psychologists, and allied health professionals, working collaboratively to deliver gold-standard, evidence-based care. The Position We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounting and Payroll Officer to manage the day-to-day financial operations of Esus Centre. This full-time role is integral to ensuring the smooth running of our accounting, payroll, and HR-related functions. Key Responsibilities: Manage daily accounting tasks including accounts payable, receivable, and billing processes Oversee payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations Handle HR-related administrative tasks related to payroll, including leave tracking and employee records Perform bank reconciliations, BAS, PAYG, and payroll tax lodgements Prepare and maintain basic management accounting reports to support strategic decision-making Contribute to process improvements and support financial audits when required Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to support financial operations across the Centre This role offers a clear pathway for career progression, with the potential for promotion to Finance Manager based on performance and contribution to the organization’s growth. The Candidate We are seeking a proactive and highly organized professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess: A solid understanding of accounting principles and financial management practices Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role, with proficiency in MYOB or Xero Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills Professional, mature communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels High level of self-discipline, time management, and organizational skills Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment Why Join Esus?
