Applications are sought for the following position: ACCOUNTS PAYABLE OFFICER The successful incumbent will ensure excellent service in all aspects of Accounts Payable including, but not limited to, financial and administration support across the organisation. This role is key in processing, verifying and reconciling invoices. This is a Full Time Permanent position, Monday to Friday 8am - 4pm. The position could be based at any of our campus locations. The Role: Downloading and processing of purchase orders on a daily basis Downloading invoices and statements from emails Answering enquiries from staff and suppliers in regard to the Colleges purchasing procedure Processing creditors invoices Reconciling supplier statements to system balances Maintaining accounts payable records by filing documents electronically Preparing invoice batches for payment Processing and reconciling credit card receipts Experience and Skill: Strong understanding of accounts payable processes Excellent numerical skills An ability to prioritise and manage expectations An ability to work independently as well as part of a team Strong capability to communicate both verbally and in writing Cert IV or diploma in accounting or relevant experience Microsoft Excel and Word Experience with ExpenseMe Pro, TASS and Alii would be to your advantage Applications close at 4:00pm on Friday 7 February 2025.
