Your New Role: As the Accounts Payable & Receivable Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the finance team by managing financial transactions, assisting with lease administration, and ensuring accurate reporting. This role is perfect for someone with a strong background in accounts and property finance systems who is looking to develop their career in the property sector. What You'll Be Doing: Accounts Payable: Process invoices using Nexus, ensure timely payments, and manage supplier reconciliations. Accounts Receivable: Assist with daily receipting, follow up on outstanding payments, and maintain accurate records. Lease Administration Support: Assist in updating lease records, tracking rental payments, and ensuring compliance with lease agreements. Financial Reporting: Support P&L and balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring accuracy in financial data. General Administration: Provide ad-hoc support across finance and property teams, including data entry, reporting, and document management. The Experience Checklist: Proven experience in Accounts Payable and Receivable, with a solid understanding of financial processes and reporting. Strong attention to detail to ensure financial accuracy and compliance. Highly organised and proactive, able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Relevant qualification/certification in Accounting/Bookkeeping, Finance, or Business Administration is advantageous. Experience with accounting software such as Nexus, MRI, Xero, MYOB, or SAP is beneficial. Strong proficiency in Excel and other financial software to manage and analyse data efficiently. What's Next?
