Annual Salary: $37,440 to $42,000 pro-rata This position is part-time, 18 hours per week (preferably Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays) More hours may be expected depending on workload All applicants must be a Permanent Resident of Western Australia. Company Description Apex Hydraulics Pty Ltd, located in East Rockingham, WA, is the authorised Australian distributor for Hi-Force Hydraulic Tools. The company supplies a wide range of high pressure hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, along with a large range of tooling available for hire. Role Description This is a part-time on-site role for an Accounts Administrator at Apex Hydraulics Pty Ltd. The Accounts Administrator will be responsible for: Fortnightly Payroll and Superannuation Accounts Payable and Receivable duties Month end reconciliation processes Compilation of reports for submission of BAS Compilation of reports for all monthly, quarterly and yearly accounting Comprehensive experience with MYOB software essential Experience of dealing with foreign currency booking and payments Purchase invoice submission in Ostendo software (Experience is advantageous, however training will be provided to the right candidate) Proficiency with Excel, Word, Outlook and ERP systems is required. Duties include, but are not limited to: Daily banking and payments Reconciliation of bank accounts and cash flow management Checking and entering purchase invoices Customer statements and debt control Checking sales invoicing and submitting via customers portals where required. Liaising with suppliers/customers via phone and email in relation to accounts queries Tracking and accurate recording of information for submission to accountants for BAS reporting. Preparing monthly reports (reporting to the Directors) Meeting deadlines and prioritising workloads with minimum supervision, taking responsibility for the quality and accuracy of work Compliance to and awareness of Health & Safety regulations and requirements Preparing information for renewal of insurances Being proactive in finding solutions to problems and identifying areas for improving processes Other operational activities as and when required To be successful you must have: Sound knowledge with chart of accounts High level of computer literacy and accounting Ability to work autonomously Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Good time management and work to deadlines Reliability, confidentiality and well-developed communication and interpersonal skills What we will offer you: Base Wage Permanent position once successfully completing a 6-month probationary period Hours can be negotiated and flexible over alternate days.
