About the Position The Accounts Receivable Clerk will play a pivotal role in ensuring accurate and timely customer invoicing and collection processes. This position is integral to maintaining the company's cash flow and customer relationships. Working closely with the Accounting Manager based in Adelaide, Australia, and leveraging systems such as NetSuite and Salesforce. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and send accurate invoices to customers using NetSuite. Follow up with customers to ensure timely collections and resolve discrepancies. Maintain detailed records of payment statuses, customer communications, and account adjustments. Reconcile accounts receivable balances to ensure accurate financial reporting. Collaborate with internal teams, including Sales and Operations, to address customer billing queries. Generate and analyze accounts receivable aging reports, providing updates to the Accounting Manager. Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities related to accounts receivable. Support process improvements and system enhancements for billing and collections. Candidate Requirements & Qualifications: Postgraduate with 5+ years of experience in accounts receivable, including complex software and services arrangements. Excellent communication skills for interacting with global stakeholders. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Ability to work independently while coordinating effectively with remote teams. Desired but not required: Proficiency in NetSuite and Salesforce, or similar ERP and CRM systems.
