Firebird AST is seeking an onsite TS/SCI with CI Poly cleared Acquisition Contract Specialist to support a U.S. Government client. This is for a pending contract. Contract award is anticipated to early 2025. RESPONSIBILITIES Prepares acquisition and contracting documents that reflect technical and operational requirements for Government approval. Prepares Acquisition Requirement Package (ARP). The documents include service contract approvals requests (SCAs), PWSs, Statements of Work (SOWs), Statements of Objective (SOOs), labor category descriptions, Justification and Approval Documents (J&As), independent Government cost estimates (IGCEs), quality assurance surveillance plans (QASPs), acquisition plans (APs), acquisition strategies (ASs), and sole source justifications. Assists program analyst with preparing Acquisition documents in support of acquisition decision milestones. Provides input in the proposal evaluation process, supporting the post-award by preparing monthly status updates and funds expended to-date and variance analyses intended to highlight any significant issues requiring Government action. REQUIRED Active DoD TS/SCI clearance with CI Poly. Proficient with Microsoft Office tools. 8 years’ experience preparing acquisition and contracting documents within the federal government. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ATTRIBUTES Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical journals, reports, policy, legal documents, etc. Ability to prepare reports and presentations to company management and customer(s). Demonstrated leadership ability, strategic and innovative thinker, and passion for the mission. Ability to identify and solve problems. Excellent organization and time management skills. EDUCATION Bachelor’s degree in any field. CLEARANCE Active DoD Top Secret/SCI with CI Poly.
