The Role We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Additive Manufacturing Technician to join our team. This permanent position involves a variety of responsibilities, including: Inspecting completed components for quality and precision. Operating 3D printing machines and assisting with key processes such as powder loading, unloading parts from machines, and preparing equipment for subsequent builds. Performing basic housekeeping and maintenance tasks to ensure a safe and efficient work environment. This role is suited to someone who can thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality. What We’re Looking For We are looking for someone with a "can-do" approach, who pays close attention to detail and is eager to learn. Key skills and traits include: Basic Technical Skills : Hands-on experience with hand tools, mechanical assembly, and a basic understanding of technical processes. Computer Literacy : Familiarity with basic CAD systems and the ability to navigate computer systems effectively. Mechanical Aptitude : A natural understanding of mechanical processes and problem-solving. Experience in Digital Printing : While not essential, knowledge of any digital printing processes (e.g., additive manufacturing, 2D or 3D printing) is highly regarded. This includes tasks like file preparation, machine operation, and material handling. Knowledge of ISO Quality Standards : Experience working under ISO standards or similar quality systems is highly desirable. Inspection Skills : Good eyesight and attention to detail are critical for inspecting parts and ensuring high-quality standards.
