Seeking the best suited applicant to join our busy friendly team of Health Professionals. The Central Core Laboratory includes the units of Central Specimen Reception, Core Haematology, and Core Chemistry. The Core Laboratory Administration Officer role is responsible for providing high-level, confidential, and professional administrative support to the work unit supervisors and Core Laboratory Manager. Key competencies (role specific criteria) Demonstrated high level skills, or the ability to rapidly acquire high level skills, in the use of Microsoft Office applications, and other Queensland Health specific software e.g. the laboratory information system (AUSLAB), and other computer applications including S4HANA and myHR. High level organisational skills with demonstrated ability to plan, prioritise and schedule work while working autonomously and harmoniously as a productive team member to meet deadlines and commitments. High level written communication skills displaying a high level of attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to use medical terminology to prepare correspondence, agendas and minutes. Demonstrated high level of interpersonal and oral communication skills including the ability to liaise with staff at all levels. Demonstrated commitment to personal development and organisational excellence. Demonstrated commitment to quality and quality service delivery. Awareness of, and ability to apply and adhere to organisational policies, including policies relating to human resources, and workplace health and safety.
