Where you'll be working: Western Sydney Local Health District (WSLHD) is responsible for providing primary and secondary health care for people living in the Auburn, Blacktown, and The Hills Shire, Holroyd and Parramatta Local Government Areas (LGAs) and tertiary care to residents of the Greater Western Region. What you'll be doing: The Maternity Administration Officer will provide clerical support to the Maternity Ward including: Data entry File management Telephone support General clerical activities to assist midwives, nurses, medical staff, and Allied Health services caring for the patients of this service Ward reception and telephone support at front of service Public assistance and direction Stock and supply ordering as required This position is full-time Monday to Friday. Essential Criteria: Qualification: Administrative Certificates Selection Criteria: Experience in a health-related clerical role Demonstrated excellent customer service skills in face-to-face and telephone reception. Proven ability to prioritise, meet busy schedules, and work autonomously as well as within a team environment. Proven ability to work in stressful situations maintaining confidentiality, showing adaptability and flexibility with a willingness to learn new tasks supporting a range of services/specialties. Knowledge of and commitment to quality improvement and workplace safety. Competent in the use of computer applications.
