This role is ideal for someone passionate about administration, eager to develop their skills, and ready to contribute to a dynamic team. Youll receive on-the-job training and support to complete a Certificate III in Business Administration while playing a vital role in our organisation. This is a supported 12-month program where you will receive continuous assistance and guidance throughout your journey, ensuring you thrive in your role and achieve your goals. Key Responsibilities Administrative Support Manage diaries and schedules to ensure effective time management and organisation. Collaborate with diverse teams to achieve organisational and team goals. Provide exceptional customer service through clear and professional communication. Liaise with Inner West Council teams, customers, and both internal and external clients to address enquiries and resolve issues efficiently. Professional Development Engage in studies within the administration field or demonstrate a willingness to undertake relevant training. Apply learnings from training to enhance workplace contributions and improve efficiency. Teamwork and Problem-Solving Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve shared objectives. Demonstrate a proactive approach to problem-solving and finding innovative solutions. Selection Criteria Education and Training Completion of Year 10 schooling or higher. Willingness to complete a Certificate III in Business Administration (12-month course). Skills and Attributes Proficiency or knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook). Strong attention to detail and commitment to punctuality. A team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively. Passion for problem-solving and delivering high-quality service.
