Duties Provide high level administrative, executive and operational support together with coordination of assigned projects. Period of Appointment Permanent, ongoing Applicants should be aware that for twelve (12) months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill any subsequent full-time or part-time vacancies in accordance with Employment Direction 1. Hours per fortnight 73.5 hours per fortnight Pre-employment Checks Current Tasmanian Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (Registration Status – Employment) is required. The Head of the State Service has determined that the person nominated for this job is to satisfy a pre-employment check before taking up the appointment, on promotion or transfer. The following checks are to be conducted: Conviction checks in the following areas: crimes of violence sex related offences serious drug offences crimes involving dishonesty serious traffic offences Disciplinary actions in previous employment check Qualifications Qualification or studies in relevant areas e.g. human resources, business management or accounting.
