Permanent Opportunity Part time at 16 hrs per fortnight (1 day per week) Grade 1 Administrator Located at The Alfred Great Staff Benefits Department Alfred Heart Centre - We assess and treat adult patients with cardiovascular (heart) diseases, including the most advanced forms of coronary, valvular, heart muscle and heart rhythm disorders. Through a wide range of outpatient clinics, investigation suites and a large inpatient service, we care for patients from our local community and across Australia. We have an extensive research and education program, for which we are known internationally. Position Summary The Administration/Billing Officer forms part of the Cardiology Department reporting to the Business Manager. The position will play a crucial role in managing private billing, Medicare Benefits Schedule (MBS) and addressing rejected claims within a healthcare setting. The role will focus on ensuring timely, accurate billing, resolving claim rejections, and providing excellent service to both internal and external stakeholders.
