YOUR ROLE IN OUR FUTURE Ongoing Full Time Role The Molecular Pathology Laboratory in the Department of Pathology is looking for an Administration Worker to join our small administration team which supports our molecular diagnostic services. The full-time ongoing position presents an exciting opportunity to gain invaluable experience in this rapidly growing field. Suitable candidates will be highly motivated and self-driven, and have the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team. Previous experience working in an accredited Diagnostic Molecular Pathology/Genetics laboratory and a demonstrable understanding of medical terminology would be an advantage. This role is ongoing full time, 80 hours per fortnight with an ADO. As this role is with Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, the successful candidate for this role will be initially employed by Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre. Once the new public pathology entity is fully formed, which is anticipated to be in late 2024, this position and the successful candidate’s employment (including terms and conditions of employment) will transition to the new public pathology entity.
