Job Description

Administrator - Travel and Accommodation Elecnor has been contracted to build EnergyConnect, a new 700km transmission line extending from Wagga Wagga NSW to the South Australian border. This backbone infrastructure will connect customers with more renewable energy enabling a further 4950MW of generation capacity, save NSW customers $180 million a year and create 1,500 new construction jobs in regional NSW. Construction of EnergyConnect is underway in various locations across the project area. The Role We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Travel Administrator to join our team on a 12-month contract. This role involves the booking and processing of all travel and accommodation for employees traveling to various project locations, including both FIFO (Fly-In, Fly-Out) and DIDO (Drive-In, Drive-Out) arrangements. As this position is high-volume, the ideal candidate will possess excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and a proactive, problem-solving mindset. This is a full-time role, working Monday to Friday at our Buronga site office. Primary responsibilities will include: Timely Booking of Travel: Efficiently process new travel requests and make changes to existing bookings as needed. Travel and Accommodation Coordination: Book flights, accommodations, and other travel arrangements across the project. Roster Management: Accurately update and maintain the travel roster to ensure smooth operations. Collaboration with Project Controls: Work closely with Elecnor Australia’s Project Controls team for reporting and forecasting needs. Accommodation Coordination: Liaise with subcontractors to arrange travel and accommodation, and investigate long-term accommodation options where applicable. Customer Service: Monitor and respond to requests and inquiries in the shared mailbox in a timely manner. Your skills and experience: Minimum 3 years experience in administration (preferably construction background) Strong attention to detail and accuracy High-volume booking experience is preferred Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
