Job Description

Advanced Physiotherapist - Emergency Physiotherapy Practitioner Provide a primary contact, after hours, seven-day a week Physiotherapy service at the Minor Injury and Illness Clinic located at the Bribie Island Satellite Hospital, the Minor Injury and Illness Clinic located at the Caboolture Satellite Hospital and the Caboolture Hospital Emergency Department, utilising advanced level physiotherapy clinical knowledge, skills and evidence-based practice. To provide leadership for the Physiotherapy service at the Minor Injury and Illness Clinics and at the Caboolture Hospital Emergency Department. About you Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values: Use an advanced level of expertise and clinical leadership to contribute to the development of clinical practices, competencies, procedures and protocols that support the continuum of care engaging cross-discipline referencing, and integration of post-graduate professional development, best practice and clinical evidence, within the areas of musculoskeletal and emergency medicine physiotherapy. Provide specialised clinical advice and work collaboratively as part of the Minor Injury and Illness Clinic and Emergency Department multi-professional teams to develop practices, policies and protocols to maximise patient outcomes and the delivery of service. Provide leadership, direction and change management skills in the development and implementation of the advanced scope physiotherapy role.
