Advisor, Corporate Communications and Brand THE ROLE: The Advisor, Corporate Communications and Brand is responsible for implementing and enforcing consistent brands for Australia’s Nation Brand and Austrade, which are differentiated in the market and reflect the brand values. The Advisor oversees the day-to-day operation and implementation of resources, communications, and digital platforms that aim to simplify and maximise the adoption of Australia’s Nation Brand and the Austrade brand with target audiences. This role also acts as a brand expert across the Austrade Communication and Marketing team, the wider Austrade business, and all other brand users, to provide customised guidance on branding matters. Duties include: Contribute to the development and maintenance of new and existing tools and resources to ensure that users can easily adopt Australia’s Nation Brand and the Austrade brand, including brand assets, guidelines, how-to guides, infographics, and templates. Act as a brand specialist and provide expert advice and guidance to the Marketing team and the broader Austrade business on branding best practice and execution. Understand, and ensure compliance with, Australian Government branding guidelines when the Australian Government crest is used. End-to-end management of creative and brand projects to produce high-quality deliverables that showcase Australia’s Nation Brand and the Austrade brand, including management of relevant creative and digital agencies involved in delivery. Leverage best practice marketing program management processes, Agile methodologies, and highly effective stakeholder management skills to manage brand projects end-to-end, from briefing through to execution, optimisation, and review. Contribute to the maintenance and optimisation of Australia’s Nation Brand website. Manage the day-to-day operation of online brand asset libraries called Australia’s Nation Brand Toolkit and ibrand, to ensure they provide the best possible self-service experience to existing and potential users of Australia’s Nation Brand and the Austrade brand, and always act as a repository for current brand assets. Manage email inboxes for Australia’s Nation Brand and the Austrade Brand, ensuring response times meet agreed service level agreements. Undertake copywriting and develop presentations for internal and external audiences. Contribute to data analytics and reporting on brand platforms and performance.
