In this role you will provide strategic, proactive, and timely communications advice and service to Greater Western Water. You will take a coordinated approach to developing communication strategies and tactics that help deliver on enterprise priorities and enhance customer experience. This includes developing, implementing, and evaluating communications strategies for teams across the organisation. This role also supports a team of Senior Communication Advisors to deliver tactical outputs of their business partnering role as needed. Responsibilities Deliver communication planning for GWW functions, identifying short- and long-term needs and managing requirements end-to-end, through to delivery and evaluation. Take client briefs to develop and evaluate best practice communication plans. Develop, implement, and evaluate effective communication plans, which align with functional and organizational priorities. Develop and execute communication materials across multiple channels. Establish strong working relationships with SMEs and stakeholders across GWW to become a trusted advisor on strategic matters and daily issues. Work in an integrated way across the Communications team and the broader Partnerships, Engagement and Communications section to ensure effective alignment of stakeholder engagement, messaging, use of channels and content coordination. Work closely with internal communications to ensure internal audiences are informed and engaged about external communication activities. Skills & Experience Experience in communications strategy development, and writing, implementing, and evaluating communication strategies. Excellent communication skills, including the ability to develop written material and concisely convey ideas and information through various channels and platforms. Strong interpersonal skills to build trusted relationships with people at all levels. Experience in communications and familiarity working with the IAP2 community engagement framework and principles would be highly desirable. Tertiary qualified in a communications or public relations related discipline and/or equivalent experience in a communication role.
