Aftermarket Manager (Australia) - Hub APAC Department: International Sales (BP60000) Job Overview UD Trucks is known for our pioneering technologies and products within the commercial automotive industry. Responsibilities and Duties Aftermarket Strategy & Business Growth: Develop and implement aftermarket business strategies to increase revenue and market share in parts, service, and repair solutions. Identify new business opportunities, including fleet maintenance contracts, service agreements, and spare parts sales. Analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitor activities to drive strategic initiatives. Work closely with the marketing and product teams to provide aftermarket solutions that complement new truck sales. Oversee distributor policies, recruitment, evaluation, and termination processes while maintaining strong strategic relationships. Support and enhance the dealer and service network performance to improve aftermarket sales and service efficiency. Monitor dealer performance KPIs (parts sales, service efficiency, and customer satisfaction) and implement improvement plans. Develop and implement training programs for dealership service and parts personnel to enhance technical skills and customer service. Parts & Service Operations Efficiency: Oversee inventory management and parts supply chain to ensure availability and cost control. Ensure workshop efficiency and service turnaround times at UD Trucks’ authorized service centers. Ensure compliance with Australian vehicle regulations, safety standards, and corporate guidelines. Provide soft product sales forecasts and contribute to demand forecast meetings. Leadership & Team Development: Lead, coach, and develop distributor teams and internal staff to continuously enhance competency. Work collaboratively with regional and central functions to align business operations with global objectives. Develop competency & skill training programs, covering both technical and commercial aspects, in collaboration with the training section. Minimum Qualifications 7+ years of experience in aftersales service, aftermarket management, or distribution operations in the automotive or commercial vehicle industry. Strong knowledge of aftermarket service networks, parts distribution, and sales forecasting. Experience in distributor/channel management, including policy formulation and performance evaluation. Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a track record of driving business growth. Ability to work cross-functionally with supply chain, finance, marketing, and technical teams. Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to coach and develop distributor teams.
