With 50+ locations and a team over 2,300 nationwide, Bidfood is recognised as one of the country’s leading distributors to the industry. An opportunity exists for a fulltime afternoon crew member in our Townsville branch. About the Role: Reporting to the Operations Manager, the successful applicant will be required to pick and assemble goods, load trucks efficiently, manage the inventory processes involved in the receipt and put away of stock, maintain bin locations, and ensure general tidiness of the facility. This is a physical position with some heavy lifting and requires flexibility to work various shifts in Dry, Chiller, and Freezer environments. Duties: Pick and pack orders Consolidate and assemble pallets in preparation for the delivery driver’s orders Adhere to time management and product integrity Perform work in the freezer storage area at minus 25 degrees temperature Skills and Experience: A current forklift licence with reach experience (desirable) Be physically fit Good written and verbal communication skills Previous warehouse experience desirable but not essential If you believe you are the right candidate to join our team, please apply with your current resume.
