Job Description
Job Title: Casual Direct Support Workers Location: South-West Suburbs (Forest Lake to Jindalee) Your Contribution: Assisting with personal care, including showering, dressing, and personal hygiene Administering medications Domestic duties including cleaning, laundry, or meal preparation Assisting clients between 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday Community engagement, such as attending doctors' appointments, grocery shopping, or other social or recreational activities of their choice About You: Capacity to work flexible hours on a roster system Looking for a change from aged care facilities and the opportunity to build rapport with clients Great communicators dedicated to providing the best service Excellent listeners who can work autonomously and within a team Calm and confident in different environments with a clear understanding of professional boundaries Hold a Certificate III in Individual Support or Aged Care (highly desirable) Can provide personal care with dignity and sensitivity Believe in an inclusive society and value client focus, respect, inclusion, integrity, excellence, and courage Hold an Open Australian Driver's License and full comprehensive car insurance Capacity to travel to clients' homes Why Join Us: An hourly rate based on your industry-related experience and qualifications Minimum casual hourly rate starting at $33.01/hr at Level 1.1 Time to build effective relationships with your aged care clients Industry-leading training provided by health professionals Additional penalty rates for night and weekend shifts Salary packaging benefits for permanent part-time employees Flexibility to support your lifestyle and commitments Support and continued professional development Before You Commence, You Will Need: Current First Aid and CPR certificates A Blue Card (Working with Children Card) An NDIS Worker Screening Check Commitment to infection prevention and control measures, including the use of PPE Own vehicle to attend shifts CPL are happy to assist in obtaining these necessary checks if you are successful.
