Job Overview Are you passionate about providing exceptional care and support to others? As a Personal Care Assistant with Aveo, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of our residents. You will work closely with our team to deliver high-quality daily care services that promote independence, well-being, and happiness.The Opportunity Aveo's Albany Creek Retirement Village is seeking a casual Personal Care Assistant to join our supportive team. In this role, you will provide personalized care and support to residents, focusing on their individual needs and preferences. You will also have the opportunity to develop strong relationships with residents, families, and colleagues, and contribute to creating a warm and welcoming community environment.Key Responsibilities - Provide safe and effective daily personal care, tailored to resident care plans- Ensure all residents receive kind, caring, and respectful personal care that supports their choice and independence- Assist with tasks including medical & personal support, domestic cleaning, and general admin duties- Support residents with recreational and social activities- Follow Aveo OH&S policies and procedures and report any safety incidents- Be passionate, trustworthy, reliable, and enjoy connecting with residents, colleagues, and the wider communityRequirements - Certificate III/IV in Aged Care, Individual Support, Disability, or Health Services Assistance (required)- Current First Aid & CPR certificate (required)- Current Police Check clearance (required)- Current COVID-19 Vaccinations up to date (required)Benefits - Competitive hourly rate including 25% casual loading + relevant award entitlements- Employee Referral Program and Employee Assistance Program- Discounts to health insurance and retail & leisure partner providers- Opportunities for further career progression- Be part of a friendly and supportive team in a caring retirement living community- Opportunity to work across multiple communities (Newstead or Caboolture)What We Offer Aveo is a leader in retirement living, with over 30 years of experience.
