Job Description Join BallyCara as a Support Worker Are you a dedicated Support Worker with a passion for empowering individuals to maintain their independence and enjoy meaningful daily activities? BallyCara, a leading aged care organisation, is seeking a compassionate and skilled Qualified Support Worker to join our team in the Waterford West community. We’re looking for someone who is ready to start immediately and is available for at least three days per week. We have a variety of shifts available, including early mornings and afternoons. This flexibility allows you to balance work with your lifestyle while making a meaningful difference in people's lives. Key Responsibilities: Assist with personal care, mobility, and domestic tasks. Provide social support and facilitate community and wellness activities. Communicate effectively with your team leader about client needs and progress. Transport clients to appointments and social events. Travel throughout the community between client homes (paid kilometers). Desired Skills and Experience What We're Looking For: A minimum of Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care, or Community Services, OR current nursing students who have completed Aged Care placements. Previous experience in Aged Care or Community Services. Flexibility to work various shifts - have availability between Monday and Friday 7am-5pm and occasional weekends. Basic computer skills with attention to detail in documentation. Ability to work independently, while reporting to a Supervisor. Empathy, patience, and a positive outlook on Ageing. A current Driver’s License and registered and comprehensively insured reliable vehicle. National Police Check (or willingness to obtain). Current First Aid and CPR certificates. Apply Now!
