About the Opportunity You will provide individual support to seniors and people with a disability both in their homes and in the community using an individualised and person-centred approach. The ideal candidate will be hardworking, responsive, resourceful and have an ability to create strong professional relationships. They will also utilise an individualised approach towards assisting our consumers to reach their goals. The successful candidate will be joining a close-knit team and will embrace and model the values of the organisation. Duties and Responsibilities: Assist aged and disabled persons during daily activities. Help participants with their mobility and organize social activities. Manage food for participants, executing overall housekeeping tasks. Assist in personal hygiene and dressing. Provide emotional support by showing companionship and friendship. Occasional shopping and running errands. To be successful in this role, you will hold a Certificate III in Individual Support / Aged or Disability and/or at least one (1) year of experience in individual support or community services.
