Be part of it The Department of Transport's Regional Services directorate is leading the innovative “Driving Access and Equity Program” which helps people in regional Western Australia obtain a driver’s licence, improving access across employment, health care, and community.Many learner drivers struggle to access appropriately licensed driving supervisors, instructors, and vehicles to complete their required supervised driving hours, making it difficult for them to get their driver’s licence. The Driving Access and Equity program collaborates with trusted community-based organisations to support disadvantaged learner drivers, particularly those in regional Western Australia, get their driver’s licence and become safe, employable drivers.You would be an essential part of a team dedicated to developing solutions to help people overcome barriers to a driver’s licence. The Opportunity The Agreements and Business Support Officer provides valuable project and administrative support to the Remote and Mobile Services team within the Driving Access and Equity branch. In this role, you will be responsible for undertaking research, analysis, and evaluation of a range of projects and initiatives across Western Australia. You will identify issues, trends, and opportunities related to the delivery of mobile transport services and provide recommendations for continuous improvement. This role is also responsible for assisting in the management of agreements for the delivery of licensing services, including stakeholder engagement and quality assurance activities. This is a fixed-term contract opportunity available until 29 August 2025 to cover maternity leave, with the possibility of extension or permanency. We need someone who can Manage operational and administrative activities for the Remote and Mobile Services team.
