The Position Coordinate delivery of AIR/LCL shipment in accordance with customer delivery requirements utilising approved transport providers whilst avoiding/minimising storage/loss or damage. Location : Sydney, Australia This is a fixed-term role to provide parental leave cover for eighteen (18) months. Job Description: Transport coordination of LCL/airfreight imports and exports in SYD and BNE with backup to MEL, ADE and PER Checking customs status on all jobs Coordination of carrier payments and delivery order releases Manage cartage providers on a daily basis to adhere to agreed KPIs Liaising with internal departments on a daily basis Main focus on liaising with Customers on agreed delivery requirements Monitoring and actioning ICS, AQIS holds and booking inspections Timeslot bookings through nominated providers Relief coverage when team members are off ill or on leave Customer 1st Focus Identify control levels for chain of responsibility within the workplace Communicate information on chain of responsibility to parties and responsible persons Determine responsibilities of all job roles within chain of responsibility within work environment Review chain of responsibility workplace policy and procedures regularly to ensure they are current and reflect work Ensure chain of responsibility regulations are followed Implement chain of responsibility workplace policy and procedures Maintain and complete records relating to chain of responsibility Collect records and information relevant to chain of responsibility requirements Analyse records and information relevant to chain of responsibility Develop and report findings on the analysis of records and information Job Requirements: At least 3 years freight forwarding experience with 2 years experience in cartage role Cargowise/CW1 preferable Strong written, verbal and personal skills Proficient in Microsoft ie Outlook and Excel Time management and multi-tasking skills How do your skills match this job?
