We currently have a vacancy for an Airfreight Export (Foodstuffs) Manager in our Logistics /Perishables team based in our Brisbane Airport office. You will manage key accounts, negotiate with airlines, and develop strategies to optimize performance. The role requires strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service. Skills / Qualifications Lead and manage the airfreight export operations, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures. Develop and maintain relationships with key customers and stakeholders. Handle customer complaints, inquiries, and negotiations to maximize business opportunities. Monitor KPIs and performance metrics to achieve business objectives. Ensure compliance with Occupational Health & Safety regulations and company policies. Drive continuous improvement in operational processes and customer service. Manage budgets and financial performance to meet EBIT targets. Train, mentor, and develop a high-performance team. What We Are Looking For 8-10 years of managerial experience in Freight Forwarding and Logistics. Degree in Business Administration or Supply Chain Management preferred. Air Cargo Security and Dangerous Goods accreditation essential. Strong commercial awareness and customer focus. Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively. Strategic mindset with a results-driven approach. Proven leadership experience in building and managing high-performing teams. Strong communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders. Proficiency in MS Office applications. Why DHL?
