More about the role The role of the Allied Health Assistant (Physiotherapy) is to work within the Mission and Mission in Action of HammondCare to ensure a high standard of service is provided to patients of the Hospital, along with appropriate support and advice to their carers. The Allied Health Assistant will participate as a member of the multi-disciplinary team to ensure a patient-centred, evidence-based, continuous quality improvement work environment that is consistent with the values and ethics of HammondCare. This is a permanent part-time role 24 hours per week on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. The essence of this role Assist as directed in the provision of effective and efficient physiotherapy service to clients and appropriate support and advice to their carers Participate as a member of the HammondCare team in the application of the organisation’s Mission and values to the pursuit of its objectives in a client-centred, continuous quality improvement work environment About you ESSENTIAL You must be available Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday every week. Commitment to engage and align with HammondCare’s Christian Mission, Motivation and Mission in Action. Experience working in a health or aged care setting. Experience across inpatient and outpatient/community settings would be desirable. A current driver's license and safe driving record. Willingness to travel between HammondCare’s sites and services. Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills (written and verbal) Demonstrated organisational and time management skills DESIRABLE Certificate III or IV in Allied Health Assistance.
