Job Description

As a Therapy Assistant, you will deliver therapy programs to our clients under the instruction and guidance of a qualified Allied Health Professional. Therapy programs will include individual and group therapy programs for clients, in an individual and family-centred model of practice. This position is based locally in Tallangatta and surrounds. You will receive regular support from our Therapists in person and remotely. This is a casual position, based in both centre and community. Initially, 2 days per week are available; however, the hours on offer are envisaged to grow based on your capacity. Key Requirements Allied Health students currently studying an allied health degree (e.g., SP, OT, DT, PT) living locally, perhaps studying externally - or; Certificate IV in Allied Health - or; Fully qualified and/or experienced Allied Health Assistant (min Cert III). Hold a valid Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening clearance. Completed the NDIS Worker Orientation Module training. Current First Aid and CPR certification. A current driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle. Well-developed interpersonal skills and an understanding of the importance of professional boundaries and scope of practice. Capacity to assist in all duties and be confident to do so autonomously. High level of energy and enthusiasm towards the work you do.
