Job Description

The Victoria Clinic is a recently developed state of the art, purpose built inpatient mental health hospital, which includes a rooftop gymnasium and recreation area. The Victoria Clinic provides a range of inpatient wellbeing and specialist programs, which are growing to meet the needs of our patients and has an exciting opportunity for a motivated Senior Psychologist to lead the Allied Health team, under the clinical leadership of the Director of Allied Health. Key Responsibilities: This position is responsible for providing operational leadership and direction to the Allied Health team to complement the strategic direction, operational processes, budget and business direction of the hospital. The Allied Health Lead will coordinate delivery of evidence-based care and be accountable and responsible for the effective management of human, financial and material resources and ensure customer service is maintained at optimal levels. Qualifications for Success: Mandatory: Recognised degree in Psychology & Masters in clinical psychology Current registration with no restrictions with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency Eligibility for membership of relevant professional association Board-approved Psychology Supervisor Minimum of five years’ experience responsible for the supervision of other Psychologists/Allied Health, with significant degree of administration within mental health facilities Post-graduate qualification in clinical area or management/leadership Benefits to you: A rewarding and supportive work environment, with fortnightly supervision and opportunities for professional development.
