Job Title: Allied Health Operations ManagerLocation: Remote (with some travel)Job Type: Full-time Position Overview: The Allied Health Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the operational aspects of therapy services, leading a team of Occupational Therapists and Speech Pathologists. This role requires strong leadership and operational management skills to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care and efficient service operations. The successful candidate will be focused on patient-centred care and continuous service improvement. Key Responsibilities: Leadership & Supervision: Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of Occupational Therapists and Speech Pathologists, fostering professional growth and team cohesion. Conduct regular performance evaluations, providing constructive feedback and development opportunities. Operational Management: Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency. Contribute to the development and execution of organisational strategies. Drive continuous improvement in service delivery, ensuring client-centred care across various sectors (DVA, NDIS, Paediatric, and private). Monitor performance metrics, identifying and addressing areas for improvement. Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and accreditation requirements. Conduct audits and evaluations to maintain high standards of care. Financial Oversight: Assist in budget preparation and monitor financial performance. Identify cost-saving opportunities and strategies for revenue enhancement. Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Coordinate with healthcare teams to optimise patient care and treatment plans. Act as a key communicator between staff, management, patients, and families. Professional Development: Identify training needs and facilitate ongoing education for staff. Stay informed on industry trends and regulatory changes. Develop and deliver training programs to enhance team knowledge and skills. Patient-Centred Focus: Advocate for patients' needs and preferences in care planning. Engage in community outreach to promote therapy services. Qualifications/Experience: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Allied Health, Healthcare Management, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years' experience in allied health or healthcare management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role. Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident. Proven ability to lead and mentor a team, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and organisational abilities. Commitment to fostering a collaborative, high-performance team environment. Solid understanding of healthcare regulations and policies.
